5 lbs. 2 oz. Pendleton Robe 64" x 80"
The Storm Pattern traces its origins to the legend of the creation of the Navajo homeland. In the blanket's center is the first Hogan, the original house in which the Navajo people began to arrange their world. Four sacred mountains, symbolized by rectangles near each corner, surround the Hogan.
More from Pendleton PendletonThe role of blankets is woven deep in the history of Native Americans. For centuries, they have been used for: warmth and comfort, as a medium of exchange, for artistic expression and as an important part of ceremonies and tribal councils. Pendleton has worked closely with Native Americans to create high-quality blankets in vivid designs. They are true collectibles, to use and enjoy today and to pass down for generations to come.
