While fishing off the coast of Neah Bay many years ago, and because I had Harbor Porpoise in my gill nets, I had to have a federal agent on my boat. Over the months we became good friends. He started sharing his knowledge in biology and I was sharing my knowledge of the culture of the Makah People. One day when there were only dog fish in my net, he got blamed for the bad luck, hence the name Many Dogs. To this day, he has become a great sport fisherman, thanks to knowing all the different fishing spots and when to fish for the greatest bounty." Nytom-(John Goodwin)
